2010 xlt shut off while driving

V6 with 155k, shut off while the wife was driving. now makes a lot of rattling from the engine when you try to start it.

Need more info. Is there a CEL? does it start and run?

it will start, but doesn't run for long. there is a loud rattle from the right bank, sounds most like #4 cylinder. no light although it shows a misfire on#4. I am planning to pull the plugs later today.

You might have had the sohc timing cassette/chain failure. If your plug is good your issue is most likely it slipped on timing and a valve met with a piston. Likely fatal for the engine.
