Wondering if anyone with a base model Explorer can tell me if it comes with the auto lock/unlock feature that is setting accessible via the instrument cluster. That is where it auto locks the doors around 12.4 mph.

Thanks

BTT - Anyone? Probably not too many base model owners out there?

Thank you I appreciate the response...I was hoping it wouldn't actually but good to know.

Thanks again.

According to page 126 of the owners manual, you can enable or disable both the auto lock and auto unlock features. The owners manual isn't specific to trim level, so I'm not absolutely positive it can be turned on and off....but I would be surprised if it can't. Best bet would to check it out at the dealership before making the purchase.

Thanks but I am aware of that. I am looking at internal vehicle data trying to figure out where the settings reside for it.
