2011 explorer 3.5 with 240k miles. I had no issues until I decided to change the coolant. Drained from the radiator, filled it up at the reservoir and burped it about 10 times. Now it's been a week and in the mornings when it's not hot, I can make it to work no problem and no overheating, but when I park it the hoses are full with pressure, I turn the heater on and the pressure goes down. After work and over 100 degrees. I can make it a few miles until it over heats. Or I crank on the heater and the temp goes down and I make it home. Yesterday I replaced the thermostat and still the same problem. Every time I turn on the ac the pressure builds up and starts to overheat, with the heater on its fine. Any suggestions.

Due to the designs of modern cooling systems when just refilling there is a likelihood of getting air bound. This item is a must have for trouble free filling.

Probably air in the system somewhere
