2011 Explorer Bluetooth Noise

Thanks, I was wondering how long it would take to receive the card. I will order, much easier than going to dealer and waiting.

Finally, after the latest MFT upgrade the bluetooth seems to be working fine. Hooray!

I'll third that! I called the wife the other day while she was driving home from work. I asked her if she was driving or stopped. She asked why and I told her it was because she sounded so good. She said she was driving down the freeway and not only that, but had the sunroof open! Every once in a while the sound would get a little wonky, but it sounded great otherwise. Definite improvement.

Update

I am happy to report the last Sync update solved the background noise . 21 months from my original post. It took a bit longer than I thought it would but I now happy with the performance of the bluetooth. I did have the rain noise foam put in, put some insulation behind the mic, I also used some black silicone around the window and under the A-Pillars to hold them on. So now I think its about time to trade for a Sport !!!

59,000 miles and is ready for some tires. No other problems.
