We have a 2021 Ford Explorer with the sport package. We bought it new and love the vehicle. But the Bluetooth has never worked correctly. When making a call the Bluetooth connection starts good but within a minute or two it goes to crap and the voice becomes static to the person on the other end no matter who you are talking to and they start to complain that you are cutting out. So you end up picking up the phone to finish the conversation. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it?

Have you tried a different phone?

Is your SYNC version up to date? The newest is 23188.

Yes, we just check its up to date

What tends to happen is you will be on the phone and everything will sound good for a minute or two then the person on the other end starts to sounds robotic and then they start to say they can't hear you.

The only other thing I can think of is to try a cable to plug your phone into the Explorer. Then try using either Android Auto ot Apple car play. I plug mine in and use AA all the time. Worth a try.

Yeah, that seems to fix it sometimes but that doesn't work great either. I have seen on Reddit where other people have had the same problem with the same year model but have never seen a solution.

Do you use Android or Apple phones? I did see some posts where people say Apple is more problematic about this. I have no experience with Arrle so this is only from reading posts.

Apple

Do you know any one with an Android just to try?
