2011 NWX Hangover run to Lonesome Lake

Is there a place to park tow rigs and trailers
What about fenders or lack there of

We'll figure something out.

Trailers, we'll find a place but will need to know how many.

Fenders,,,,,,,,these are forest roads not trails but it's not like FS Rangers go up there every day.

i can probably get a spot to park a truck and trailer at the base of 75 and as far worrying about fenders you should be ok, i will let you know what i find out about parking

x2 on trailer parking. I could just drive from Enumclaw and park at Forrests place if he plans on driving also? I would rather park off FS75 or somewhere in green water If theres room though.

I have some repairs to make to the rig after last night... hope theres nothing that will get in the way of the trip.

Ran up 75 today. It WAS bladed prolly a few weeks ago but the snow got good with elevation. Really nice powder on top of frozen snow/ice. We didn't try to get to Lonesome Lake. Here's sum video from Nf-75 well below Lonesome Lake today

Anyone ever seen a hub explode and split the hub tube on a 44? Another first for me... I have broken a few hubs but never one like this. You can kinda see the split on the top.

Yeah really!!!! You can't just post that without a story:rolleyes:

I am in.
Being this is going to be FS roads I will drive the dodge and bring the wife and girls with me, should I start to have any problems I will stop and turn around
I am going to put a winch on the front and I have chains and full coverage:p:

Bring the new explorer, this can be the first "test" run for it!

Chris and I went out late (11:30 at night) on friday night for a quick run by my house. His winch quit and I broke my drivers hub trying to get him out so I was only 3 wheel drive (I have spare hubs but the hub tube was junk). We tried to take an "easy" trail out up a long skider road. I got half way up and slid off the bank and ended up going over. I rolled into a tree that stoped me from rolling again but it finished off my windshield. We got it winched back up the bank onto the road and on its wheels, toped off the fluids and got it running again. I was able to get to the top and help Chris try to get past the spot where I rolled. Chris couldn't get past it without starting to slide so we tried to winch him past. Dan was winching Chris from behind him with a snatch-block to a tree infont of him... that didn't work. Chris started to go over just like I did, the last second he floored it in reverse and managed to swing his back around off the bank and down into where I was and a tree stoped him from going the rest of the way. We got Chris out and tried to take him out a different way now that the bank was gone. We had to winch with two different rigs for about an hour to get him up another trail that you couldn't even walk up. On the way back out Andy rolled his Samurai trying to climb another bank, we got him back on his wheels and headed home. I walked in the door at 5:30am... Long night but we had fun. I need to fix some stuff so Its ready for our next trip in the snow.

Oh, 4.0L do stay running upside down, I had to shut it off so it wouldn't run out of oil:roll:

Wish I had my camera, the only pic's I have are from when we got back.

Meet up time and place

How about the Enumclaw Safeway at 9am??

The glass guy is going to put a windshield in my rig in the morning and I have a few small things to fix before the trip but I should able to make it. Im goin to trailer to Enumclaw and drive from there.
