2012 Explorer LTD Tuxedo Black

Hi All,

FYI - This is my first thread to the forum!

My wife and I are looking forward to receiving our new LTD, scheduled for Dec 19th - coinciding with my birthday - amazing timing

I'm hoping to meet this date, at least prior to Christmas, as we're heading up to the Mtns, otherwise it's time to rent another 4WD.

Cory, Rebecca - I appreciate your great support and responses on the forum. If I supply the VIN, can you give me a better estimate on the delivery date?

I'd also like to say thanks to Denver's Phil Long Ford's Salesperson - Maureen. She's excellent and provided me a great deal. Granted it's Sales, but from my experience, it's been great so far. My fingers are crossed that Service behaves the same.

Some background: I've owned non-American cars/suvs exclusively. This is the first time I'm buying American. I feel good and happy that it's Ford. As long as the basic functionality works - I'll be satisfied. As for MFT, I'm willing to "grow" with it and anxious for the update in Q1'12. I'm a techie and can manage any issues.

Just a few more weeks!

So it seems. I was offered it by my Dealer. The "pigment" was not available since it's sourced from Japan and due to the Tsunami, delayed. I'm assuming the glass flecks were the issue.
