Just for kicks, even though I do not have the car yet, I went onto SyncMyRide.com and registered myself and used the VIN given to me for the car (which is in transit to the dealer...yea!). I have not activated the services yet, but the site says the following about the car:
Sync VersionGen2 - V3.0.2
Confirmed installations:

DA5T-14F496-AC
BT4T-14F497-AP
DA5T-14F657-AD
Don't know what this means, and don't know if the '13 has a newer hardware revision or not. Hope this is of value to someone.
