2013 Explorer Sport backup sensor issue

Hi, ive been wondering if anyone else has had this issue, when i turn off my backup sensors due to the fact that when i get close to an object it starts beeping and it automatically lowers the radio volume or bluetooth volume etc. i realized that the next time i get back in the vehicle, the sensors turn itself back on as if i never turned it off, same goes with the cross traffic alert system, anyone has any advice how to turn it off it should stay off period.

I don't know which model and year Explorer you have but if you check your Owner's Guide you will likely find the default is ON. That means that those items automatically reset to ON when you start the vehicle. That is what is shown in my 2011 Owner's Guide
To help members in answering your concerns it would be very helpful if you entered the model and year into your profile so that it will show in the left margin where your name appears. Some questions/answers may be model/year specific.

No Problem Fred. As far as I know the default mode cannot be disabled without actually disabling the functions. I guess the only way to do that would be to pull the fuse(s) that control them. In this case it doesn't seem the thing to do as the two fuses also control other functions.
I believe they are #34 and #35. Check out page 330 of the 2013 Owner's Guide.
