Hello all,
I have just ran into a problem that has reached the limits of my limited abilities. My moon roof will not close all of the way. It comes to about 1/2" from closing but will not go any further. the back will also not raise up seal against the rest of the moon roof. I have checked the tracks for debris and or blockage and there is none. I do not see any broken pieces and the drainage tray drains with not problem. It does still fully retract and go almost all the way forward. If anyone can lead me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you again for your help.

Welcome to the Forum.
Is there any way that you can sort of give it a bit of help as it is closing to see if that will close that spot where is seems to stop?

My (former) 09 Edge did this to me after I had it a few years. The fix was to spray silicone lubricant on the rails. I had to take it to the dealer's body shop to figure this out. They told me this is something that should be done every 1-2 years. When I got home I retracted the roof all the way open, stood in the front seats and coated the rails from above the roof. It never gave me any more problems. I "believe" this is a maintenance item and should be reviewed in the owners manual.
