I definatly agree that Ford needs some high efficiency diesels in their line up. Hopefully in the years to come. As much as I'd never buy a Chysler product again, at least someone from our big three brought the idea of a diesel in a small truck. Clearly from the Foreign influences. I think the more correct answer for American auto manufacturers is to change the status quo. The biggest offence in my opinion is the Warranty. If Hyundai will warrany a car for 100,000 miles then why the hell can't Ford, GM, or Chrysler? We all know that it's not because they are built better. I'm still gonna buy American no matter what, but is it too much to ask for American to mean something and live up to that reputation?
