Hello,

Has anyone heard when the top secret Sport will be released? Dealer took my order 6 weeks ago, but cannot get a vin# and have no idea when they are coming in. Must be high security clearance stuff from Ford. Very frustrating.

Fustrating for sure... It would appear that the first dealer stock units should start hitting dealers the first week of October. A few random retail orders just started scheduling last week and those will likely start hitting dealers towards the end of October. As for the rest of us with retail orders, it is still pretty much up in the air. A number of us placed our orders 12+ weeks ago and have no VIN or any clue as to when they will be scheduled. Being yours was only placed 6 weeks ago, it could be a while yet...

Since the Sport has recently started rolling off the manufacturing line, I would expect customer retail orders to start delivering in early November. I'm sure late October is a possibility, but it's probably safer to assume November. I'm in the same situation, but with a different Ford vehicle that will go into production next week.

I replied to your PM earlier in the month, but I never heard back. Shoot me an answer and I’ll be happy to research the latest update.

I ordered roughly 15 weeks ago, still no VIN... hopeful for an End Of October delivery though. Being in a rental is really getting annoying, especially cause it's a roaring 108hp Yaris.

Got my VIN on Sept 4th and on the 25th my salesman said it has been built. He is expecting delivery in 3-10 days. Not sure how true the delivery time estimate is but I think dealers will start getting them very soon.

Man congratulations... I can't say I'm excited that people are getting delivery dates and I still don't have a VIN, but I am happy to see things are moving along finally!

What color/packages did you order?

ordered mine late August. Just heard this morning that the build date is October 22 and expected delivery date to So Cal is Nov 5th.

My dealer has been terrific at keeping me informed.
