2014 Exp. Sport owners

At first i just want to say hi to everyone on this forum. I am planning to buy a 3 row crossover. 2014 Ford Explorer Sport and Acura Mdx are the 2 that i narrowed down my search to. I read quite a few posts on this site trying to figure out if the Exp. Sport is a reliable car. I heard that Ford has carbon buildup problems with 3.5 ecoboost in F150s. I am just wondering if there are any other issues with this Explorer? I appreciate all the feedback from Exp. Sport owners.

Aside from the Ecoboost engine, the Sport is not immune from all the other issues that the 5th generation 2014+ models have encountered.
The 'Search' feature in the upper right is a good feature to get familiar with. Here are a couple I found.
