2014 Explorer ABs Trac light on

I have 2014 Explorer. The abs trac and brake lights came on. I took it to a friends garage and the vehicle won't let them scan it with the advanced scanner. The mobile scanner picked up an O2 sensor issue when that light was on. Anyone have any ideas on why the vehicle is locking out the scanner and if there is a workaround so I;m not stuck with an enormous bill from the dealership[?

I can't help with the scanner problem and only guessing that whatever is wrong with the ABS is causing the brake lights to come ON. I don't recall having read another post like yours before. Are brakes coming ON or just the lights?

Just the lights. The brakes are working fine. I've never heard of a vehicle blocking a scanner either
