2014 Ford Explorer XLT
Hello! Thanks for reading! I have a 2014 Ford Explorer XLT and the passenger side headlight recently stopped working. I tried a new bulb and it still didn't work. I pulled the bulb from the drivers side (working) and it didn't work in the passenger side. I looked at the fuses and they are intact. The turn signal and running lights are working on the passenger side. I connected the scan tool from Advance Auto and there were no codes. Has anyone experienced this issue? What fixed it? Anyone have a wiring diagram?

Welcome to the Forum.
Have you checked to see if there is power going to the headlamp/connector? Does the 2014 have a separate bulb for hi and lo or a single one?

I get 12vdc across the two terminals on the plug. I get 12vdc if I measure from one of the terminals to ground on the battery and 0vdc if I measure from the other terminal to ground on the battery. It has a single bulb.

If you’re getting voltage it should light. If part of the connector possibly broken internally?

Took it to a Ford garage and they said I had water in the assembly. Quoted me $700 to replace the assembly. No thanks! I found a pair of assemblies on Amazon for $200. Took me about an hour to replace them. Thanks for the help!

Thank you for the update.

Peter
