2015 Explorer XLT electrical issues

I have a 2015 Explorer XLT. Started with Sync 2 touch screen not working all the time, only on and off. Now, the instrument cluster flickers, gear shift lights flicker, all inside lights flicker and the speedometer flickers in and out; the A/C or heat go off and on at random times, touch screen goes black, no radio; started to act like it was dying when idling; sync used to start but didn't finish for 4 or 5 tries and has an error message. at one time got a message about power train but only once. smells like burnt plastic at time. chalking it up to this particular problem because of all the issues. All inside lighting and instruments flicker off and on. Any suggestions???

Welcome to the Forum.
I'm wondering if perhaps it is all due to a bad ground? Have you checked the battery to ensure it is good and that the connections are solid? There have been issues with the positive terminal corroding.
