The drains got clogged and water got in and wrecked the glass motor. Replaced it with an after market motor but it would not initialize. The slide button would tilt it and the tilt button just made the motor click. Finally got it to slide open after many initialization attempts. Cleaned the drains and bought an oem motor. Installed it and nothing. Shade motor worked prior to putting the oem motor in and now nothing works. Tried multiple times to initialize but no sounds or operation from the motors. Any help would be great. Fuses are good.

Where did you buy the "oem" motors from? There are tons of faulty junk motors sold as "oem" online. These usually not programmable.

I got my replacement motors from rockauto and they work great. The one touch feature still works but only for opening (it doesn't work for closing like the OEM did)

I got mine from the Ford dealership at an outrageous cost.

I am not sure why there is no response from the motor. I gotta get some smaller leads for my meter to check the voltage but could it be the control buttons by the reading lights?

Your old motor still functioned still so I suspect the buttons are fine. You should take that overhead unit out and make sure it is bone dry. My car basically did the same as yours except it looked like a waterfall inside so water got everywhere

The problem is the motor is new and not working. Just replaced it yesterday

Welcome to the Forum.
I suggest that unless you have to, don't get large items from the dealer. There are several genuine Ford parts dealer around that offer better pricing but shipping costs have to be considered. Original 2011-2017 Ford Motor BB5Z-15790-A | Levittown Ford Parts

After the OEM installation and nothing working, did you check the fuse? Did you try swapping the glass and sliding partition motors?
