Ok so I was messing around with my new piu as I'm putting it together. I realized the rear windows dont open with the buttons on the door. But will work off the master switch on the drivers door . And I tried turning the rear lock on and off.. upon further inspection this is What I found under the panel

Any help is greatly appreciated.

It was a k9 unit. But from the looks of it. They kinda just hacked the harness here...in the door.. unless under the b pillar the plug is disconnected and the separate harness is. Connected. But with the bare wires twisted there is What gets me.

If it had a K9 heat alarm, it may be wired to trigger the rear windows to roll down if interior temp passes preset threshold.

If the K9 control unit has been removed, I would think you can just trace the added blue wire to where it ends, remove it, and reconnect the wires properly.

Any upfitter should be ashamed at that quality of work. Completely unacceptable to connect wires like that IMO.

I know the tail lights were the same way bit of a hack job. No shrink wrap no butt connectors. Just twist wires and good to go... once I get my inspection I'm tearing the entire interior out anyhow. Putting carpet and a full set of leather seats in so I plan to check all my wiring now and make sure this damn thing doesn't burn to the ground while I'm driving it

Do you know if there is a code for the rear windows? At time of purchase my LR window was sketchy with up/down. Most of the time it goes down somewhat easily but will only go up after a long delay. The RR window does not function at all. I did locate and connect the connectors located at the bottom of the B pillar. Funny because I thought that was for LR window but it was working before that was connected. There is no sound coming from the RR window. Haven't checked to see if it's getting power yet. I had pulled the panel to make sure everything was connected but put it back together since I have a long drive tomorrow. Just curious if it could be something simple in Forscan.

Hi, check under the driver's seat under the vinyl floor

I've conected those wire caps under both sides of vinyl flooring near the pillars, still nothing on my right rear window. Is there programming in Forscan?
