Welcome to the Forum. :wavey:
The best one is likely the one it came with. There are members that changed to a cold air intake only to go back to OEM. There are also others that have added various types and are happy with them. I will move your post to the 'Modified' sub forum.

Do you have the EcoBoost limited or did you opt for the 3.5L naturally aspirated V6?

If you went with the EcoBoost V6 we recommend doing catted downpipes before a catback system. There is far more power to be had there as opposed to a catback system.

We also, recommend just like anyone else would to tune it. We offer tuning for the EcoBoost V6 AND now as of yesterday we offer tuning for the 3.5L NA V6! It is not on our site yet, but you can call or email us anytime. Tuning is where your best value is from a dollar VS power return!

K&N Intake

Hey, i just ordered a K&N Performance Intake Kit for my 2016 Sport with the EcoBoost V6....

I saw some mention of folks reverting back to the OEM... am i wasting my time with the K&N install?

I saved the $$$ on the intake and just did a K&N flat pack filter. made a difference for sure. I also did Magna Flows without a cat back as the pipe on the sport is already larger. I cannot speak to the down pipe as I did not change that .

The overall Tune is next.. It will be done this week.. Oh yea I have a 15 sport Ecobeast with 5500 miles on it and is about 6 weeks old. Not sure what tune.. Livernois, diablo - trinity, or GAIC ( Not sure yet if they offer one for it ) Have to start the tune homework.

It doesn't seem to have much of an effect from what some members have said.

Also, keep in mind that if you have an issue with the vehicle and the cause of the problem is traced back to the use of the K&N setup, the warranty will not cover the parts that may have to be replaced.
