I've acquired a 2020 PIU. When the light switch is set to on Auto/running lights/headlights the amber led strip are not on. They currently only work for signals and hazards. I know this has been addressed to turn on for ST's but wondered about the PIU's.
I spoke with the police garage I got the vehicle from and they stated that with the 2020's there were issues with the amber LEDS being on when the car was put into drive and not turning off at night which caused a safety issue for officers, and they were completely disabled.. However the 21+ PIU models have the amber DRL strip as DRLS.
Is there a way to turn the amber strips on for DRL's with the headlight and running light settings in Forscan without them being on all the time?
