2022 Ford Explorer XLT
I have a 2022 Explorer XLT that vibrates intermittently and oddly when pressing the brakes. It happens intermittently as the pedal is traveling and is persistent when pressed all the way in. The vibration is soft but fast and feels like a buzzing. I’m not sold into the rotor being the problem since it happens when at a stop and even when the car is off as well. My first guess would be an electrical system protection component or a pressure release function of the system.

The cars used with ~14K miles and we just picked it up from the dealer yesterday. Carfax shows no accidents and no repairs recorded.

Welcome to the Forum.
If the vehicle has less than 36k miles on it than it is still under the factory warranty and the issue should be checked out by the dealership.

It may be the power brake booster. It is electric on these vehicles and could make the sound you describe. Like Peter said, have a dealer check it as it is still under warranty. Any Ford or Lincoln dealer can be used for warranty.

Hey, did you ever find a solution? I have a 22 that we picked up with 24k miles and 2k miles later it started having a vibration/loose noise in the front right. New strut, strut bearing, found a broken motor mount in the process, and then lastly a bad inner tie rod helped out but it still has the noise. Similar problem but I’m at a loss as the dealer has had it for over 20 days now and still no true resolution. Doesn’t make any noises while sitting still, only while going over bumps/up and down the drive way, and while braking at 50%.
