2022 Ford Explorer ST Questions

Well is this normal in the rear spare tire area green paint? The Black Metallic outside looks great but after seeing this green, thought I was back in the Army again. Also what goes in the tray that's empty? The other side has the white funnel. Thxs!

The empty spot was used for the front tow eye that was eliminated in the 2020 MY . I guess Ford never bothered to change the mold. And no, yours has no place in the front to use it.
