2023 ST Rear Entertainment Issue

I installed the OEM Ford Rear Entertainment System myself, there are no parts that cant go in after the vehicle is built. If you PM me your email I can send you the installation Guide and it shows all the parts and how they go in. Its DIY simple.

So... you do have the credit? Okay.😑 so a couple more things. Do you know how to turn your wifi Hotspot on. it has nothing to do with your carrier, as ford goes through at&t . You bring your top menu down it's in there. Hey this is a very helpful site. If you want I can see if I can get working before you go and get it taken out?
P.s I'm also a very tech savvy person. That is very knowledgeable with this stuff.
that would be wonderful

Okay well hey everyone, I'm going to be showing you how to get your rear entertainment fire tvs working in 2022 to 23 ford explorer, expedition edge so on. With pictures. I will be showing it in away for people to use if you have or don't have or want to have the wifi Hotspot in your vehicle.
Disclaimer: some message and data rates will apply. Also I will not be showing this on explorer as I do not have one but it is the same thing.

Step:1 Figuring out if you have the have wifi Hotspot credit. Look at your window sticker if it shows wifi Hotspot removal, and gives you 50 bucks back you cannot use the wifi Hotspot in the vehicle it will look like this except this is from a bronco sport.

Step:2 This will be if you do have the wifi Hotspot in your vehicle. If you don’t skip to step 5. Okay so to get your vehicle wifi Hotspot password you have to go into settings then ford pass connect vehicle Hotspot settings then view password. It should look something like this.

Step:3 click show password, and go to the rear seat entertainment. The engine should be already running from you find your wifi Hotspot so if the tvs have timed out just wake them up. (It's easier to use the remotes) After selecting your language it will prompt you to connect to wifi. Have that ID and password that you just found ready and enter it in.

Part:4 pay the wifi Hotspot fee and enjoy.

Disclaimer: if you think these tvs are the old fashioned play a DVD/ BR disk they are not. They are basically little smart tvs so have your subscription passwords ready.
Part 5: Using your own wifi Hotspot. This is how to use your own wifi Hotspot to get the tvs to work. Disclaimer, this is on a Android phone I do not know if Google pixels or apples are any different.
So unlike the sync wifi Hotspot, that is unactive until you hook something up to it. Our phones wifi Hotspot needs to be turned on. Most people don't even realize they have it. I will show you how to get your password and turn it on.
Part:6 turn on your wifi Hotspot. So how do you turn on your wifi Hotspot? Quite simple you see were your notifications bar is. Pull that down. You should see something like this.

Alright if you're here then great pull down where you see your wifi flashlight and Bluetooth.

Now select wifi Hotspot

Make sure you turn off wifi but it should work.
Step:7 get your mobile Hotspot password, your almost there. Go back to home screen and go into your settings, tap on connections then mobile Hotspot you can also turn it on from

here. There is password and username.
Step 8: Follow step 3 instructions just with this username and password.
Step 9: sit back and enjoy.

Try sending a message to @Levittown Ford Parts Ask for Benny

He is a member here and all I have seen he is very helpful.
It is a Rear Entertainment Kit from Ford, As was mentioned Benny is good source. Or just go on their website they have the kit available.

The DVD players are made by Envision.

Just one suggestion, the Ford OEM DVD package DOES NOT integrate with the vehicles front multimedia system like the GM ones. The Ford system is not as refined as the GM one and the screens are smaller. My suggestion would be to buy a couple iPads or tablet of your choice and two really good seat back mounting brackets with wireless headphones. Way better system IMHO.
