for any of you BIG BIG BIG rigs, Carnage Canyon is right next door.
I'd try it, but I think that trail would literally eat my explorer

Yup, it would get eaten alright

I walked the trail last year to check it out & watched several rigs go through there. There's no way my truck would survive. Lotsa rigs were on their passenger side body panels in the "V Notch". At the end of the trail, you'll need a winch to get out unless you're rig is a top notch rock buggy that can climb anything...........It's a "one way" trail only & that last hill is kinda long & VERY steep with loose dirt, shelves, & rocks.

If I had a winch & if my truck was a trailer queen, I'd try it sometime just to see how far I could get before something broke or got crushed or was impassable to me.

Sunday morning would be a good time to watch some rigs go through it before we head back home. It's a short trail.

I'm not sure exactly when I'll be there, but I'm leaving after school on Friday.

Looks like I won't be making the trip due to broken suspension parts. I hope you guys have fun make sure to get some good pics.

Rino not sure how late you are headed down but me and two buddies will be heading out of Littleton late (around 8:30pm or so) so with any luck we will be out there around 11pm or so. My cell is 303-669-9731 if you're leaving late and want to call me we'll be on the road.
