2nd gear found in pan

found 2nd gear next to magnet-- Hear lots of info--love my 94 xlt but can't afford multiple trannys over time ---- HELP!:frustrate :exp:

Magnet! So it must be an automatic. Assume you found the rectangular cast intermediate band strut that fell out when the band snapped. shouldn't be any damage. You could replace the band yourself.
