2nd gen front end swap

Just wondering if anyone has ever swapped the front end of a 2nd gen X with a Mercury Mountaineer???? I have been pondering it cuz I like the lights better, but it's not set up the same way. the wiring is different, the grille, header panel and lights are all different...I work at a body shop, so it wouldn't be that hard. If anybody know's or is interested....let me know!!

It has been done, and the only real wiring differences are the fact that the explorer has 3 bulbs in the parking light, and the mounty has one. If you like the lights better, take a look at these:

I am in the process of collecting parts for this swap oon my 2001 Limited. You will need the following:
-2001 Merc Mountaineer Header Panel
-2001 Merc Mountaineer Grill
-2001 Merc Mountaineer Headlights (left and right)
-2001 Merc Mountaineer Signal Lamps (left and right)

We have one shop in Crofton That is where I work.
And we also have a shop in Anapolis that has been there for 21+ years. I was there for quite some time until the Crofton shop opened.
