I believe the hub assemblies for the left and right sides 2nd Gen's are universal, can anyone confirm? I've had a humming noise coming from the driver's side for a long time now, but I don't want to fork out the cash for the part if that's not where the noise is coming from. Thought I could swap them to troubleshoot.

Also, any suggestions on cheapest place to buy the hub assembly.

Thanks

They Are Interchangeable!

Shop your locval parts store. I found them any where from 140.00 to 205.00.:)

Try jacking on the lower arm

The total bearing length is less than 2 inches. Just a tiny amount of play will make the tire jump in when it loses contact with the pavement. You can take off the rotor and shield and grease these bearings through the speed sensor. This can be hard to pull out because the last 0.2 inches till the O ring rusts. You get a new sensor with the bearing anyway. The hole is 0.38" and I found an oversize zert fitting that fit in the hole snugly with a single wrap of tape. Slowly pump in grease till it comes out the front seal.
