Only works for the torsion bar suspension, which is the Sport or Sport Trac. The 4 door Explorer does not use torsion bars.

2WD's don't have torsion bars? I've seen people talking elsewhere claiming their 3rd gen 2WD's have em? Maybe I'm mistaken?

All their big explorers are 2WD... I assumed that was why...

2WD's and 4WD's have torsion bars. It's not that which effects whether or not you have torsion bars, it's your make and model. All 4 door Explorers 2002+ have strut assemblies up front, no torsion bars. The kit you posted works for 2wd I BELIEVE because it will mess up your front driveshaft with that much lift if you were 4wd, but for 3rd gens and up, it will never work because the suspension setup is completely different.

The 3rd gen for sale you posted appears to have a body lift, not a suspension lift.
