Does anybody know if the 2WD Explorer and 2WD Ranger had the same driveshaft?

Thanks,

I would guess that differences in bed length might screw with the shaft length; also Rangers had a couple different axle options (7.5 vs 8.8) and such. Probably why it is an unknown. Best advice is to measure your stock length and compare it to the junkyard ones.

I don't have a stock one to measeure (going from 4x4 to 2WD) hence the post asking. ;-)

I'm thinking the ranger ones are too short. I just need to find a 2WD explorer in the JY...
