What are the differences between a 2wd and 4wd M5 trans? Obviously, mainshaft & ext. housing, but is everything else interchangable? Found a 2wd trans to use for a hardparts donor for my 4wd M5 rebuild, but I want to know if it will do me any good. Are cluster gear and mating gears the same? What about bearings, etc? Plan on buying rebuild kit to get sych. rings and other typical rebuild B.S., but trying to stay away from buying gears and such, if possible($$$
