I purchased and am ready to install these hooks, but how do I go about it with a boxed frame. Should I drill a hole, tap threads into the frame and thread the bolt into it or is there a way to get a nut on?

I found a picture or two and I thought there was a complete write-up but I cant find it.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

i slid the nuts into the frame using holes that were already there, i drilled my holes for the hooks and then finagled my fingers inside the frame and got the nuts over the holes, slowly started to thread the bolt into the nut, then hammered down with the impact

Can I do this with the bumper still on? Id rather not take it off again if I dont have to.

i took it off, i drilled and tapped the frame for my sway bar mount, but when it comes to recovery points i would highly suggest using nuts on the bolts.
