Hey all, Im new to the site and had a quick question about tire fitment on my 92 4dr.

Ive seen that most say 30x9.5's fit without a lift. Would the 11.5's fit without trimming/lifting?

I'll be getting new rims either way and have a set of Thornbirds for cheap if I can make em fit. If I have to trim or lift I figure I might as well go bigger.

Thanks Mike

You'll probably need 2" of lift to fit those without excessive rubbing. The steering arc will be too big with those for stock height. You will need to trim, too; and also may hit the top fender lips on compression.

I really hope they're good 'n cheap, cause thornbirds aren't the best tire...

Yea, a kid up the road saved up for a set of 31" "Birds" for his new Jeep Wrangler and three months after he got them he but the stock GY Wranglers back on cause he hated the "Birds". Said they sucked offroad and slid all over the place on wet pavement.
