x2 just an FYI, my wife has no problems with her 31x10.5 with stock rims.

It depends on the truck, every truck sits a bit different. At worst it will rub slightly.

They fit on the stock rims no problem.

I put 31's on my 94 when it was stock and it rubbed the lower corner of the body molding and part of the fender liner at full turn.

:notworthy

Let me repeat what Hartman said - Every truck is different. Some can run 31's with a stock setup and be totally fine, while others (like our 94) will rub under some circumstances. I had to put a 2" lift on to clear the tires and now I have zero problems with rubbing. If you have the cash and time to spare, throw a set on and see what happens. If you rub, then you'll have to spend the money to correct it. If not, then you're good to go.

The only issue you might have is the plastic innver fender, I have 33x12.5 on no lift and stock rims and only rubbed on the inner fender.

i had the 31x10.50 on my stock exporer and it just ate up my inner fender well. and at full turn it ate it up really bad.
not to sound like a dick or anything but i have no idea how you ran 33x12.50s on stock rims on a stock explorer that is impossible from what i saw with my 31's before i lifted mine

Going back to the whole "every truck is different" thing ;)

i fit 31x1050 stock no problem at all, im about 90% positive i could fit 33's with no rubbing while drive on concrete in straight lines, but the minute i hit a bump or had to turn they would probably rub somethin fierce. i know everbody is saying some fit and some dont but i have personally ran 31x1050 on two 1994 explorers a 1990 ranger and a 1993 ranger

not to high jack, but say you were running a 2" susp lift, with 31x10.5, what would be the idea bs for aftermarket rims? ive searched around and know that 3.75, and 4" will work and iirc the stock is around 4.5?
