I don't think 31x12.5 would work well on stock rims. There isn't enough sidewall to go down to a 7" rim. You'll need a wider rim, and one that sticks out to avoid rubbing inside the fender. Might rub on the fender lip at full suspension compression. I know Shaggy had 31x12.5's with a 4" lift on an early model. They worked well, might need more than 2" to make it work. Good luck!
