Hi everyone, I'm new to this message board and this is my very first post.
I've done some searching through the previous messages and gotten some really good info, but I thought I'd post my specific plan here and see if anyone can tell me what problems to expect.
I have a stock "94 X with an Automatic Tranny. My current, tentative plan is the following:
James Duff 2 1/2" Lift
American Racing AR767 15x8" Rims w/ 4" Back Spacing
32x11.5" BFG All-Terrain TA Tires
Here are my questions:
1. With the 4" Back Spacing and 2 1/2" lift should I expect any rubbing?
2. Should I expect a significant power loss or will I be OK with my stock gearing for a little while?
3. At full compression, will I still get fender rub without some kind of body lift or will the suspension lift do the job?
I live in South Jersey so most of my off-road driving is in the Pine Barrens (sand and mud puddles).
Thanks for any input!
Ed
