I want to know if this will work together?
Any suggestions?

It will work, but 15x8's (IMHO), for that size tire, look better and give the tire a more even distrbution. If you plan on going larger in the future then you might want to stick with the 15x10's. You could always ask the tire shop (if you have the rim), to mount on and see how you like it. Just my $.02. Good luck.

Thanks Goober. I am thinking of going on bigger tires later on but I just want to know if there's any cons on having that wide of rim on that size/width of tires.

One con that comes to mind is if you offroad at all, you will unseat the bead REAL easy!

RangerX-that's what I was thinking of, I don't want anything like that to happen.

I have only taken my explorer off-road once and I'm not going to go again till I get bigger/better tires. What I have right now on my explorer are street tires and the sharp rocks on the trail scares me. :)

I guess I'm getting 15x8's. Thanks for your opinion guys.
