I am planning on doing the torsion twist w/ add-a-leaf and then a 98 ranger 3" body... total of 5"s.... I am trying to figure out tires. Right now I have mustang cobra R rims and it would be nice to use them instead of buying new ones. I am not a heavy off-roader... just looking for looks and light off-road. do you think that I would have a problem with rubbing? the rim i have is 17x9.... and will that size tire look stupid or should I go 32x11.5 or something and get a 16 " rim.... also... just wondering in inches how tall are 265/70's? also my rims are aluminum covered in chrome.... do you think i will have a problem with salt if i use them all winter?

thanks
Marc

They would be 1" wider than the 265/70R17s. also... just wondering in inches how tall are 265/70's? 31.7" also my rims are aluminum covered in chrome.... do you think i will have a problem with salt if i use them all winter?

Mark, just to let you know the 265/70 R17 are about $20.00 more expensive than the 16's and almost $40.00 more expensive than 15's, this is per tire. Hope this helps
