I found this on Harbor Freight's site:

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=46030

"Pin point problems the way factor mechanics do. Easy to use. Simply plug the reader into the vehicle's test connector and your car's on board computer will tell the code reader what ails it. Includes instruction manual. Fits 1996 and new vehicles with generic OBDII connector. "

Worth It?

I have that exact one. It does what it is supposed to do: read and clear codes. Mine works great.

One warning tho, HarbourFreight charges a lot for VERY slow shipping. I think the shipping on mine was like $14 and took 3 1/2 weeks.

If you have a Harbor Freight locally (like I do) just print the add and take it into their store. Save the shipping charges and get it immediately.
