3rd gen door hinge repair kit??

Dad tells me the drivers door has droped a bit on his 02.
Searched here and found reference to a kit number 38438 but no name or manufacture.

Anyone replace the hinge pins and bushings on a 3rd gen?

ford had a recall/tsb for the hinges for 02-03 but not 04+

same kit that fixes the 02-03 fixes 04 05
you'll need some helpers to hold the glass

remove the trim and undo the gas struts

you'll find nuts for the top part of the hinge and torx for the part attached to the glass easy 30 min if you undo the struts and have 2 helpers

The problem is not with the rear glass...
Its the drivers door hinges that I need to "re-pin"

there are kits for heeps, i would think there is one for Fords but i havent checked. It a pia to replace as you have to cut the old pin to get it out.
