My new hunter brushguard in BLACK. Do I have the chrome grill its just chrome paint it's plastic isnt it? Hopefully I will get around to painting it black soon. Any decent black spray paint work?

AWESOME!!!!! I love the way the brush guard looks. I can't wait until I get around to purchasing my grille/brush guard. Your X looks great The stock grille is plastic. Lightly scratch using sand paper, prime, it then paint it flat black. Remove the ford logo and reinstall after painting, it'll look better.

i got the lights from 4 wheel parts. they are 5 inch 55 watt procomp lights. they were $20 each.
i went to home depot and got a metal strap the part # is HRS6 and a L bracket part # A44. i drilled 4 hole shown in the pic below

then i glued the L bracket with super glues Instant Setting Epoxy Adhesive.

I want some aux lights on my Bull bar as well... thinking about getting some 3000K Yellow Fogs, to off set the 8000K's i have in the low's and factory fog's now...

Nice looking X. Great photo too. The canoe...how do you have that rigged up to sit on that roof rack? Have you ever had the front of the canoe hang over the hood? Thats the way I was thinking of setting my canoe on top. Or is it better the way you have rigged up for it?

Thanks Ice... i use nylon self-locking cargo straps across the outsides of the bulge of the canoe () and it goes now where... off road and all. I got foam canoe carrier blocks that mount to the x bars of the roof rack. i used to tie it down to the tow hooks up front and the hitch o my 95 X but it started scratching my hood... and this way its easier to get off... just sits square inside my roof rack.

My 98 X sucks carrying a canoe. I will have to try the way you carry your canoe. I'm sure it works better than the rope I am using currently.

Yeah i didnt like the rope technique... plus if i hit a bump the canoe would hit the roof above my windshield [no joy]..

just recieved a phone call, that i recieved some large packages

I ordered new replacement black headlight housings, since my grandpop back his truck into my X, and cracked the lense open on the passenger side...

and the other day i had 100$ sitting in my paypal account that i did not know that i had, and so i ordered a bull bar for the X...

hopefully by sunday I should have the bar installed, and lights done as well...

That and, as it turns out, 86 was a "mule" transporting blackmarket female "toys" to NorCal and other undisclosed drop off points.

There's all the info you need, whether its true or not is up to you to decide. Well its true he got banned. Still I wonder what was the point of the stuff he did to his X. It looks like it was a repo'd X.
