stock floor mats are just carpeted mats that get destroyed easily... best bet is to go to autozone etc etc... and get the full sized FORD rubber floor mats...

psst... amazon.com, get you some decent 5x7'' or 6x8'' speakers for dirt cheap to help make that HU sound much better. i mean like spend 60 - 100$ for some door speakers, compared to spending 120 - 200 on speakers at a retailer...

upgrading your HU + Speakers is a HUGE ! improvement over the factory system.

Thanks, I definately want to upgrade the system. Not go to the point of subs and amps, but the new door speakers is what I plan for. The pioneer unit made the stock sound system much better.

And the floor mats two days after I bought the truck, I just went to walmart and got 4 tan rubber mats.

What fog lights you running on the bull bar? I'm looking for some but have no idea how to do the install for them. I currently have no fogs on my Ex

I took the pictures close to the ground so I think the angle of the pics make it look lifted, and also the running boards and air dam being removed makes it look lifted. Its currently at stock height running on 235/70/16's.

I guess mine is the same way, no boards, no air dam, stock tires, makes it look higher. Yours just looks to be sitting a hair higher. Must just be the photo angle. I like the black painted billet though, it looks tight.

Thought I'd post up some really nice pictures. I've reverted to the orange corners in anticipation of black headlights soon. I sold my old clear corners. So enought talk and the pics:

Recent stuff: I painted the black billet grille (lower), new upper grille, OEM corners (the orange really irritates me ), new pioneer radio head unit (deck).

I guess the height looks the same

Honestly its a stock exhaust. I'm ordering a magnaflow muffler soon, hopefully. I've done a few mods up in the engine compartment and the exhaust has just gotten louder and better toned as each one is done. I think the muffler is rusted out, the outside of the muffler looks like s**t, and I have been smelling a faint hint of exhaust in my X's cab. Probably should get that replaced before emissions. :

K&N Air Box Mod with CAI (stage 3 coming tomorrow), trottle body spacer mod, ford racing wires, debating about performance spark plugs. The colder air of the rockies has helped a lot with performance. Not too much but enough to make it sound nice Also thinking of doing a new throttle body, and some headers. The word a lot for me is a few to others. Compared to my other cars which are stock this X has a lot. I'll go and rephrase that. So my apologies on using the word a lot.

Yes there is a major improvement, a lot less lag than before. A tune would definately help get it to zero, and a rebuilt transmission would help the power to the wheels.

still running this set up... only because i havent gotten the best results, as i need an oil change bad, cause i noticed my mpg display tanking drastically. and i have about 50 miles till my sticker says it needs to be changed ( synthetic oil ).

so once thats changed, im going to look for any differences. I do intend on going to the cone filter within the next month...
