1Bad04

Yo, where did you get your magnaflow high flow cats? I looked around and could only find direct OE replacement (Magnaflow #93111)?

***EDIT***

nm I figured it out, why cant they just say high flow y-pipe blah blah, lol.

I got the cats/y-pipe from www.wundercarparts.com. Part #93108. I'm pretty sure they used to be cheaper than they are now.

The headlights are from Ebay.

bad, youve done pretty much everything to ur truck ive done to mine, your like my doppleganger lol.

I was looking at your url there and was looking at my v6 setup. $500. Eh, went to etrailer.com and grabbed me a set for $440 free ship, lol! :D

Now I really cant wait till next month, X-CHARGER!!!

Thanks. Yours looks good too. The tires are 275/45's. Can't wait to see yours with the winter rims.

wow your set up fills the wheel well better than others that are running 275/45

I was sort of thinking about getting 265/50 tires since they are a tad bit bigger and I thought it would fill in the wheel well better than 275/45

But I guess I am wrong since I like how your set looks-and I already got ground force springs at my home, just need to get myself a set of camber adjusters and then I will have them installed.

Yeah thats probably why.

I guess if thats the case, I ll just go with 275/45 cuz I am going to lower mine as well.

Ever consider about lowering your x? i think it would look good

Ryan-We need to talk about some wheels, grill change and removing the roof rack;) Your ride looks great and I wish someone would rear end me so I can get the bumper and cracked panel fixed:D

I do plan on lowering it once funds allow;)

:D I was thinking about some wheels, got any recommendations? Wasn't too sure about a grill change, not keen on the billet ones. Was thinking about throwing a EB chrome on there and seeing how it looks....

Before I answer that, are you going for a street look or lifting it?

If anything, try painting your grill gloss black like I did. I am liking the looks of gonzmexican and may be coping him for the most part. (grill and lights)

In all honesty, I want the street look but don't want to completely ruin the off-road capability. Do you have any pics of your painted grille? Liking the idea of that :)

If you end up removing your rack let me know. I need new cross members. :)

I agree, Im a fan of "stock looking" wheels. I went with some limited rims on my 04. I got them on craigs list, with the new tires for $400 plus my old rims and tires. This guy deals in rims and tires out of his garage, he had a bunch of nice factory rims from various manufactures.

TheNastyZ28-I can tell from the first picture that you must have a nice camera? Explorer looks good as well and I would paint the trim too(but at the same time I like it?). There have been a few people that have talked about doing the same and there should be some write-ups or at least some coming.

Yes, photography has been a hobby of mine for a few years now. I'm also torn on painting the trim, I can't decide because while I see all-black explorers on sites like this and love them, there is something about the gray trim on this that I really like.

I have a rather decent air compressor and automotive paint gun and have used it to do automotive painting in the past, so I figure I'd probably do it myself, but I just don't know if I want to. I'm getting a set of running boards in the mail in a week or two, so hopefully putting those on will help me decide.

Here is my page for you do look at. I took off the grill, taped off the chrome trim and emblem and applied a few coats off spray paint. Seems to be holding up and looks better than the gray stockers.

Edit: Forgot to post the link!
