Well here in TX we just had an extremely severe hail storm/tornado, and it looks like I'll be getting a new vehicle. :( I'll post some pics later today. I do just wanna say, KC off-road lights are tough as hell, and roof racks are good for reducing hail damage on your roof.

Just hail or worse I'm actually watching the news now and it's saying tornadoes, I'm glad to hear that you are alright

Hopefully all our friends in Texas will be OK. I have gotten reports that 2 tornadoes touched down in the Dallas - Ft Worth area.

43 - The Ex is replaceable. I'm sure your know that though.

Well with gas prices the way they are a 13mpg Explorer is very easily replaceable :D

Remember, its 13mpg lifted. Probably 16-17mpg slightly modded! :D

And then when snow comes, you'll want your 13 mpg Explorer.

That's good to know. I was worried for a minute, it's been like 80 years since it snowed by me... Glad to know that 13mpg will actually pay off for me :)

Lately the message center has maintained a steady 16-17mpg

I got my best ever on a 5 hour trip the other day, 18.9. Normally im somewhere around 15ish. I wish I got 19 on a regular basis

My favorite sight was driving to work last summer and noticed a drop fro 70mph to 68 mph showed a 3mpg increase, not exactly sure why. The worst so far was watching my gauge drop from 3/4 to 1/4 from driving mad and at 90mph, that drive normally will barely move the needle. Mean while a few months later a 95-100mph run of a longer distance only dropped it a quarter tank, and the frat didn't taking me after showing true dedication. BOOOO

Gotta love the fuel needle thats all over the place and the irregular consumption these Explorers have.

19 sounds great, 15 is even not bad. Im lucky if I get 12
