3rd transmission in less than 2 years

Do it yourself or get someone that you trust to do it, that way you know they will do a good job, Im doing it myself only because i dont trust any of the shops, im sure there are some good ones but you never know, as your message title says it all "3rd tranny in 2 years", i cant afford that.
They wanted 1400 bucks to throw a rebuilt tranny in mine, and for that what was i getting? who knows for sure, maybe it would have lasted me a long time and maybe it wouldnt, wasnt taken the chance especially for the price.

Cottman trannys

The cottman in Bakersfield is horrible. These people know nothing. They have been sued more times than I care to count. My parents talked me into taking mine there last month and now that I spent 1500 on the rebuild (which they don't do them selves) its messing up again. It started leaking from the front again and when I took it in they said it wasn't leaking and the oilpan bolts wern't even damp, even though there was a clear red puddle about the size of a softball under my X.
