I can't seem to find a thread with a picture write up on the 4.0 OHV seafoam insertion point. Can anyone please direct me to it if there is one? I have read a lot on this all morning but pics would help a lot because I am not too keen on where to insert this for best results over all cylinders. thanks in advance

Brake booster for me and it seems to work. I also read to add it to your oil and let the truck run for about 5-10 minutes then change the oil. I didnt do that yet but will try next time i change the oil.

i did the seafoam thru the brake booster and worked great but now i am idlin rough... i think my MAF is going out... damn 0171 and 0174 codes... did the plenium gaskets ect and nothing taking it away... hopefully it will balance out

mycool, what motor do you have? The reason i ask is becasuse i have those same codes for months and the check engine light is annoying me. I was just curious if you have the OHV motor and if they told you the plenium gasket can be one issue that can throw that code. I was told if you have the sohc yes but if not its something else.

thanks

Brake booster works great, but need headers soon I think...

Just did my first Sea Foam! My Sport has a 4.0 OHV with about 115K on it. Wow what a show! LOTS of smoke. I wanted to get pics, but I was too embarassed to stick around in the parking lot.

 Anyway, I went through the brake booster line as well and it worked fine. Some slight hesitation a couple times, but it sucked the 5 oz I put it, right up. The truck already seems to run better, too.

However, in addition to the smoke show from my exhaust, I had some wisps coming from around my headers. Can someone tell me if that means my headers are going? It's been a NE truck its whole life, so I'm expecting the exhaust to fall off any day now, but everything looks solid.
