4.0 OHV New IAC Still howling

So my IAC starting howling at idle, would happen off and on, and always at a bad time (using my truck for work) I tried cleaning my old one, and it didn't help, so I went to autozone and bought a new one, got home, installed it, and it howls worse than my old one!?

I tried cleaning it, thought maybe it had just in it, that didn't help, if anything it got louder, so I said ##### it,cleaned my old one again, put it back on, and now it's quiet?!?

So my question is, should I just leave the old one and hope it doesn't act up again, or should I take the new IAC back and hope they give me a working one this time?

I'm kinda in a jam cause I need my truck within the next two days to haul 2 cubic yards of dirt (not all at once) and I don't want to get the truck loaded, and this sh*t to start again....

Guess I'm going to answer my own question, went out and started the truck again, and now the old one is howling.

Guess I'm making another trip to Autozone, maybe they can give me one that works this time...

Went to Autozone and they replaced my Duralast IAC with a Wells, and now it works fine.

So verdict is

Duralast, made in Mexico = junk

Wells, made in Japan = good
