Nope, didn't replace any parts.

The temperature went down to a high of 60 today, and it was in the 80's all week.

NO pinging today, even when I tried to make her ping. Obviously, the cooler temps eliminate the pinging in my case.

*What if I ditched my 195 degree thermostat and replaced it with a 180? I'm thinking that maybe it'll lower combustion temps just enough to help the pinging in the warm weather?*

I HAVE to do the wheel-well, cold air intake setup as well.

try a higher octane fuel. my ex did this the other day when teps went into the 80s and i filled up with 93 and the pinging went away.

i am testing the same thing...to see if its the timing chain or pinging. seems to only happen in the mornings. I am running injector cleaner and 93 to see if it goes away. let us know about yours
