I think I have finally narrowed down the faint knock to it being the rod bearings. I will be bringing it into the shop tomorrow to have them replaced but my MAIN concern is... The knock is not loud at all. It's barely there when it's cold and when it's hot it sounds like someone is tapping on a piece of wood with their finger.
With that in mind and hopefully have caught the knock in time, do you think the crank is ok or do you think it's scarred and I'm screwed?
