4.56 w/ 33's too much?

This is the research that I have gained; that 4.10s with 33's is the best for gas milage. 4.56 is more accelleration, but lower top end and not the best gas milage. I already get about 12 mpg with stock 3.55s with 33s....what can I expect with a 4.10 or a 4.56. They are big 33s - size is 33.4! They are pretty heavy. Heavier than the 34s I had. Let me know cause I'm planning doing a regearing soon as my next big project. Gas milage isn't really that big of a deal - but I wouldn't like to go lower than where I am now (12mpg). ps - anyone have a preference on where to get the gears at? Jegs? Summit? ebay? local stores? If you all could leave me direct links to the gears for a D35 and an 8.8", please do so. Thanks.

4.56 is perfect for 33s

4.56 is best for 35s-35s
4.10 is best for 31s-33s

Yeah, 4.56s will work perfectly and this way if you ever go to 35s down the line you won't have to re-gear again

I had 4.56s with 33s and 35s. Great gear choice. You can get good gears from Summit, Randy's, WCD, Drivetrain Direct, or 4wheel parts. It really doesn't matter just check for warrenty and a quality gear set, not the cheap sets.

Don't get genuwine...they suck. MOPO...4.56 will be perfect man. good luck. go with yukon or precision something along those lines.

You can also get gears from the local parts store. I think theyre from richmond gear company or something where I work (advance auto), and they arent too pricey either. They would probably have to look up the parts in the catalogs. But worth a try. And if they arent right you can easily return them.

Richmond is not to bad ither. Put if this way High Country will install any brand of gear EXCEPT Genuwine.

A guy at work wants my 3.55 gears for his f-150, so I might get him to help me install the 4.56. Right now I am only two-wheel drive cause my front driveshaft is out...so I might possibly just do my rear first. We'll see. Thanks everyone.
