4.6L PCV Hose part #?

Hey everyone. I finally got my 4th gen I’ve wanted for a long time back in December and I love it! It’s a 2009 Limited with pretty much every option except the roof mounted dvd player, it has NAV and the 2nd row bucket seats with console. Very clean truck. My 1998 5.0 was awesome but this Explorer is just great. Next big thing is I’m really hoping to find a nice set of the 20” wheels..

So far I have just done maintainence like all of the fluids and such as well as fixed one of the 3rd row seats (needed a new motor). Recently I decided to replace the PCV hose and I ordered an OEM replacement. But it’s different than what’s on the truck? It’s taller and appears to contact the hood when closed. I can’t seem to find anything on the part # on the original one. Anyone else run into this?

Looks like this one is for the F-150 4.6L. Guessing maybe Ford discontinued the original part # for the Explorer and replaced it with this one. Kind of dumb because it looks funky because it sticks up so far.. Still odd I can’t find anything on the original part # though.

Can you zip tie it to something to keep it from hitting the hood?

I got it figured out, rockauto has the wrong part listed for 2009 and 2010. The correct one is under 2007-2008.. The first one I got is for the F-150 4.6L..
